For choir members who are interested, Singing for Syrians will be holding their next Come and Sing event on Saturday, 18th January at 11am. The event will be held at St Sepulchre's Church in Farringdon, London, and will be hosted by the Brandenburg Choral Festival.
David Wordsworth will conduct two pieces: Howard Goodall's 'The Gravity of Kindness: A Christmas Meditation' (the composer will also be present to talk about his piece), and Vivaldi's 'Gloria', one of the most renowned choral pieces of all time.
There will be an informal concert in the afternoon which can be attended by family and friends.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information, please visist https://singingforsyrians.com/.
This term, we'll be performing a new carol, Ring the Bells (Paul Fincham) in support of homeless charity Crisis (https://www.crisis.org.uk/). The composer is donating his royalties to Crisis so every performance contributes towards the charity's plan to end homelessness. The London Philharmonic Choir, who commissioned the piece, recently announced that there will be 50 performances of the carol this year by 39 different choirs, and we're very pleased to be one of them.

The performance will be part of our concert on 7th December at St Mary's Church, Chipping Norton, 7.30pm.
